BMW CarPlay Screen - Quick Installation

What a unit everything fit perfectly on my bmw 2 series 2015. the video on the manual isn’t the most helpful but easy enough to find one on youtube. the 10inch i think is perfect size for a coupe 12 would’ve been to large. carplay is smooth.

Excellent system perfectly fits into f30 works flawless and really fast shipping

The truth is that it exceeded my expectations, it looks of good quality and works perfectly, I recommend it 100%.

Very good, for BMW 1 Series 116d F20 2014, perfect size, perfect fitment, I am very satisfied with this purchase, very easy to install, I did the installation myself.

For me personally it was a really difficult setup, and also bluetooth does not really work. i dont know if its me or …. but anyways i use the cable that connects my phone and then it works perfectly 🎉 the quality is also very good.

Arrive in 2 days exactly as described works perfectly everything you need is in the box brilliant will be ordering from these again

Good product, I'm still testing it. It arrived in 4 days (I ordered on Sunday and it was at my house on Thursday). Assembly took us 30 minutes because my partner understands, and we had to re-open the air part because we forgot to put the rear black trim on. The 10.25” screen is sufficient for a 2012 BMW f20 EfficientDynamic. The pin connector is the purple one (6 pins). My questions are how to make a mirror screen so I can watch videos while the car is parked, and in some cases when using CarPlay the sound doesn't come out and I have to switch to the car's Bluetooth. I'm still researching because there must be a way to make it work without interruption. I wonder if the manufacturer has a user manual or video that I can consult digitally to make the most of the features. As for the packaging, a plastic sheet that protects it (the typical screen plastic that we remove when opening) would not be superfluous to prevent it from being marked during installation, although it is not essential.

The screen works very well and is easy to install.

Tok a little time getting it installed and followed installation instructions. i took the aux from original place and taped it next to the handbrake. all in all easy installation. there is next to no setup required and everything works out of the box and the apple carplay is super fast 5 stars would recommend it.

Good product, nothing to complain about, easy to assemble.

Amazing product for the price paid. Complete manual and easy installation. After watching some YouTube videos, it took me about 30 minutes to complete the replacement. BMW F31 with the CIC system, which didn't even have basic GPS, the difference is incredible. I highly recommend it, it may not be top-of-the-line, but very good quality for the price paid. Smooth screen with nothing to criticize.

Fast delivery and very happy with product, very easy to install if you follow youtube videos

Happy with the item. it was delivered in 2 days, very easy to install and works perfectly. huge improvement compared to the original screen. i had the 6 inch screen and compared to that one, this screen is huge. bright and crisp display. recommended

I ordered the screen for my 2014 BMW F30 on Sunday and it was delivered from Germany to the Netherlands very quickly on Wednesday. I put it in within an hour and a half. Works very well. Everything is plug and play. Putting it in seems complicated BUT it's actually quite easy if you've studied a bit beforehand from YouTube videos. The screen itself looks solid. And the system is fast enough. Sound via AUX is a bit lower, but if you adjust the sound settings it can be done quite well. In this case, I have no doubt about the CarPlay screen at all. Just take it. And most importantly, when you remove the battery terminal, make sure the trunk lid doesn't close. 😁 😁 😁 It was a bit stupid of me, but it was resolved with a jump cable. PHOTOS WERE TAKEN WITH SCREEN PROTECTOR ON! ! So if you have it removed, it's brilliant. I would say, don't hesitate, JUST BUY IT. 😉

Very good screens

I have bought many many screens

Simple assembly, easy to set up

Excellent

Excellent! Easy install and fast delivery. 5 ⭐️ ’s!

I think this unit is really great. Feels tricky picking the right model to order due to the multitude of bmw systems, but my nbt version fitted really nicely and easily, and i think is a much better integrated version (oem mic and screen swap) than the standalone mmi boxes. One thing to be aware of, not that it’s at all any fault of the product, but whilst you can screen mirror with the product and it works well (i use an iphone), you can’t stream movies from phone apps like netflix etc due to hdcp standards enforcement built into those apps. I was hoping this would be possible, but it’s not, so just something to be aware of in case this was in your plans. I had issues with the screen resolution settings when viewing the oem bmw menu. The faqs in the instructions do give advice on this (so long as you follow it :-) ) which is to make sure you switch the car on and off after changing the resolution setting. Overall, i’m really pleased.

Very good quality and easy to assemble. For CarPlay download and for Samsung Android Auto. It's different from BMW screens.
Really heavy.

Everything is perfect, I had to do a factory reset because Android Auto wasn't connecting, but after the reset everything works, there's no need to connect the aux cable or anything.
